On January 9, 2023, the OpenAtom OpenHarmony (hereinafter referred to as “OpenHarmony”) ecology enabling signing ceremony was successfully held in Shenzhen. Under the guidance of OpenAtom Foundation, Huawei signed the OpenHarmony Ecology Enabling Cooperative Agreement with Unilumin and 23 other industry leading enterprises to jointly promote the prosperity and development of the OpenHarmony ecology.
As representatives from both sides, Feng Guanlin, Secretary General of OpenAtom Foundation, Gong Ti, President of Huawei Terminal BG Software Department, Li Yuchen, Vice-president of Unilumin, Li Chao, Director of Unilumin IOT Platform Department, and Chen Yu, Director of Unilumin Global Key Account Department attended the ceremony and had extensive technical communication and exchange of views, further deepening the foundation for mutual cooperation.
OpenHarmony is an open-source project developed and operated by OpenAtom Foundation. It targets to construct a frame and platform oriented towards an all-scenario, all-connection and all-intelligence era on the basis of open source for the operating systems of intelligent terminal devices, so as to promote prosperity and development of the Internet of Everything industry.
Feng Guanlin, Secretary General of OpenAtom Foundation expressed that, as an important open-source project to be jointly built and maintained by the whole industrial circle, OpenHarmony bears their expectation on the development of the next-generation operating system and the industrial revolutions in the future. He hoped that the new eco-partners would give full play to the advantages in their own industries and fields enabling users and customers from more industries to perceive the value of Internet of Everything brought by OpenHarmony.
Gong Ti, President of Huawei Terminal BG Software Department, expressed that, with the joint efforts of all co-building partners, the system capability of OpenHarmony was continuously enhanced in 2022. Huawei has been firmly supporting the development of OpenHarmony ecology and has specially established the OpenHarmony Enabling Department to provide partners with over 20 kinds of enabling services including industry insight, training enabling and technical support. To support the development of more industries, we need co-building partners from more industrial chains to jointly build the digital foundation for thousands of sectors and industries, and create a new pattern for the Internet of Everything industry.
